Paint Party Friday, week 37, year 2, #15

 Thank you for all the comments since last friday

I didn't reach to visit all of you who 

gave me comments

but I'll come around

 Many photos

few words

looking for faces in the painting

and I found one

starting to paint it

Here I used a stocking or netting

which belongs to some onions

but I did not like it much  as a stamp ;))

anyway

I got some pattern out of the "onion netting stamp"  ;)

The leaves by the sun are not painted

they are shadows of the plastic flowers 

behind the piece of painting

here the shadows of the leaves

the shadows gave me an idea though

so I painted them

as you can see on this photo - they are now painted

Paint Party Friday, week 35, year 2, # 13

I have fulfilled my course

Art, heart and healing

with Tam

this became my sketch of the angel

I've used most acrylics

both in paints and pencils

some aquarelle crayons

some aquarelle paints
on acrylic paper

you can see some layer of gesso behind her hair on the dress

stripes with modeling paste on the wings

later some titanium buff all over the wings

some glitter

the painting is here lit up 

by a candle

then some more finishing

and she is ready

thank you so much Tam

for teaching me

and many others
I really recommend a course with her! :)

Now I've just started to love to work with glitter! :)

I wish you all an angel by your side :)

Mushrooms

I had so much fun when I drew this

I only used a graphite pen

and smoothed it out with a dry brush

But THIS on the other hand....

Paint Party Friday, week 34, year 2 #12

First of all I have to say I have much empaty 

with you people 

on the east coast of the USA

I painted this some days before I heard of the ugly storm Sandy

It happens sometimes with me

drawing or taking photos of things

that actually can be compared in some way 

to what is going to happen
afterwards 

without me knowing

Here are two things I wanted to try

water drops on face

and a 3D painting with the hand in front

She is sitting on the beach

by the small waves

reaching a hand out

to say "Stop"
but now
I rather hear
she is saying

 "Beware"

in front my cactus 

Now I associate only

with the storm
before it comes

However
back to the original
the time I painted it
it was fun 

but the drops are too big on the face, I know

but I sort of wanted to try

I found it difficult to draw smaller drops

so -
I should have drawn a bigger face then ;)
