Paint Party Friday, year 3, week 37, #33

I nearly forgot
it's Paint Party Friday today!
I'm the shadow
running after time
trying to stick to it

Here is my contribution
for Paint Party Friday
I've drawn with a prismacolor pencil

then glued in some bits of serviettes
it was still October when I made this piece

and I shadowed small details with some prismacolor pencils
(this was before I got the premiers ones)
I've here used the verithin ones
the premiers are much softer and
smoothes out the colors much better

blowing in the wind

and
Enjoy your weekend
let your hair blow!

Paint Party Friday, week 35, year 3 #31

the days and weeks are passing that fast
so I haven't come around to
see your blogs yet
I'm so sorry for that

This is one from my sketch book
from September
not satisfied with her eyes
but I'm learning
each day

now then
this I like better
starting with the first lines

then after some layers

check out her shoulder
a tattoo
or maybe a "vivid" butterfly?

I promise to do one day too :))

Paint Party Friday, week 34, year 3, # 30

I'm not satisfied with the shapes of the eyes
but this was one month ago
today I know how to draw them differently
but that's what is so fun
and rewarding
we learn each and every day
and that's fun and instructive!
in my blog I show my art work
just how they became
at the time
Remember not to give up
Each day is a new day
Drawing and painting is a process
and a development
and it's so fun to scroll back
and see the the development
I'm learning each day
and it's so fun
and thanks to Paint Party Friday
where I can show my own work
and watch the beautiful work among you
it gives me inspiration! :)

I've used different paints, pencils and crayons (I love that)

I tore some pieces of a napkin
and glued them into

I used gesso and brayer
this and the last pictures are more lightened up
by day light I think
typical me
I should maybe start to scan them instead??

extended the words with a graphite pencil

so it was finally

As this is not enough of pictures to show
I have some more
yesterday was the halloween day
I do not celebrate it
as I'm not used to it
Some have got used to it the latest 10-20 (?) years
but my generation never knew what it was
when we grew up
I wanted to send a friend of mine in the US
a halloween card
so I made one myself
impulsively and quickly
yesterday
I painted on a cover of a block
with gesso all over first

the last picture, I promise! ;)
this one I painted in September
I first covered the sheet with background colors
then I went looking for shapes ;)
and this was the result of the hunt ;)

Coming soon for a visit
sorry I did not visit you last week
viola :)
