I am out as much I can

seeing Spring enfold

never enough time to finish a painting

starting a new each time

spending my time with workshops

so much I want to do

and I'm sorry for not having visited you last week

Paint Party Friday, week 9, year 5, #45

This time I will post some unfinished paintings

as I could not get to finish a single one

I jump from the one to the other

especially when it dries or

 my inspiration stops

or I'm afraid to go ahead given that I might destroy anything

So I often start with a new piece

 coming back to the other later on....

Starting with 1,2,3,4

just playing with paints and doodling 

without any plans
Until I see shapes of a fish in no 3

Then in no 4 a face shows up

5 - painting with gesso to pop up the face

6 - painting in hair and background with watersoluble crayons

besides I used some acrylics on the fish

7 and 8 - layering the face

Even more unfinished paintings

Yesterday I bought a cheap journal book

and I started to draw

It is difficult to paint in it without layering gesso first

So then I put a thin layer of gesso

painting with water colors

some cheap new I also bought yesterday
after having painted I suddenly discovered a cat there

the cat! :)

the colors and light in the image don't show up same as the one above

because the last one here is taken by day light

the other yesterday night

however images never show up adequately as the originals
but you'll also find a new spot
between the girl and the cat
sort of warm brown
a spot of coffe powder!! :D

and this one is unfinished as well

And

there are many more unfinished pieces present here at home
