Paint Party Friday, week 33, year 2 #11

The days are running too fast
and I'm sorry I couldn't reach to visit
you all that I would like to

Yesterday I bought some new papers to draw/paint on
but I was disappointed
as I thought they were for aquarelles
but it's called cartridge paper
It's too smooth
but I tried to draw and paint
this *woman in the wind*

the idea I got from
but now I cannot find back to her special piece of painting
but take a look at her blog
she has wonderful paintings

Also I must thank Tamara Laporte
for teaching me
I've learned a lot from her
She is wonderful too
you should take a look at her blog
she has wonderful paintings

But I have so much left to learn
and practising is the best way to learn
watch, read, practice
every week
every day

Yes
Autumn's farewell

this photo is unsharp
but I kind of like it
moveable

I've used different paint supplies here
paints, pencils, crayons
both acrylics, water colors, wax

I bought a new black pen
called Pigma brush
archival ink
I've painted the eyes with that pen

My participation
on
Paint Party Friday

Peace & love

Hi Viola!
You have once again made a beautiful girl even if the paper was not easy to work on. I love Jane Davies work as well. I'll have to go and check out Tamara's blog I have never seen it.

Yes, the days certainly are going too fast for me as well. Always so much to do and never enough time. I will however, enjoy the last days of Autumn. It is such a lovely time of year.

Happy weekend to you!

Different papers have a huge effect... I personally love smooth paper but cartridge can buckle a bit if you aren't really careful... I think you handled it really well ... and I like the smudgy photo as well...xx

She's lovely and I really like the detail that you said was out of focus. It captures the breeze so well.
