It's quite a time since I last enjoyed
Paint Paty Friday
-- here I come --
:)
Some time ago I bought some crayons
*Reeves - water soluble wax pastels*
I just do love them! =)
You never know what you'll meet
when you walk in the woods
a silent conversation
The photos above are taken at night
when it's dark outside
this one is taken in daylight
I feel more comfortable with the one taken at night
What about you?
My participation in Paint Party Friday
Peace & love

okay I just posted about water soluble pastels today and I did not know that Reeve's had a brand. I'll have to try them.

Love your fantasy and the little guy coming out of the tree. I prefer the picture taken at night too. It's softer and warmer somehow.
What a gorgeous painting. I love how they have connected (I wonder what secrets they are whispering!) Great job with the wax pastels, I have used them before and loved them.
silent conversation is so perfect for this! it really looks like they are conversing and in a meaningful way.
such a lovely woodland feeling to this.
plus you did an upturned face, not an easy task, bravo!
The night time photos do have a lovely warmth to them, I do like the light in the daylight photo though, you can see more detail. Do you use photoshop/or equivalent to edit your photos?
Over on my blog you asked me how long my paintings take to do, It really depends on the size and the subject. Some take 3 days, others take 2 weeks.
Happy PPF!
Så gøy å se så mange utsnitt! Klart, fargene blir jo skarpere på kveldsbildene og det kan jo være smak og behag hvordan man liker det. Jeg klarer faktisk ikke å bestemme meg jeg :-)
