The first one was just a sketch I did not care much about..
sort of scratch
I drew it in March some day
Until I much later found out that I would like to go on with it
I think the first up to the left is not the very beginning (the scratch) by the way,
Anyway the first up to the left is the first proceeding of the scratch drawing..
I did a little scrapping (the flowers, the dress, the lip)
and I painted some gesso over

så vil skyggene falle bak deg."

and in the end I printed the drawing and
made a birthday card
for one of my friends
who had her birthday in the second week of April
and this is the back side of the birthday card
in black and white
I'll upload nearly all of my work from March, April and May I think..
I want them here in my blog.

how wonderful that you picked up an older piece and added to it. I love doing that.... something sweet about the process. this is a charming piece and a wonderful card it makes!

Oh my Viola, I hope you had a lovely evening once you managed to meet up with your boyfriend! But you're story also made me smile ;). I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. I once took the wrong bus twice in a row. I got on the wrong bus (because I never looked at the number), then got off the next stop to walk back to the stop to take the right bus - but again didn't look properly, and got on the wrong bus again. While I walked back again to my stop, I could see my bus driving away, and I had to wait another half hour for the next one. There are just days like that sometimes :). Have a lovely day!
