Paint Party Friday, week 10, year 7 #57

I thought I should be able to do a painting for today,
but no.... I didn't reach to complete it..
I suppose because I switched between two paintings..
Anyway.. here they are
(not completed yet)

one abstract (top right, bottom left)
one face with some sort of abstract background (top left, bottom right).

I have to admit it was sooooo fun to paint a face again!

About two weeks ago I and my friend went for a hike
in the forest
It was such a lovely discovery
as it's many years since I last was at this place and water
Here I enjoy my coffee

So that made me think about my paintings from last year

I discovered Bob Ross, a great painter,
unfortunately he passed away long time ago
I was inspired by his way to paint
and after my many falls and raises
and a lot of other trials and paintings
these are two of them.

Sharing with Paint Party Friday
hosted by Kristin and Eva.

Your WIPs are great, both so different an each so different in its own way. Love the paintings inspired by Bob Ross' course, they are truly fantastic! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie

Your artwork is excellent; lovely use of colour. I spent many an hour watching Bob Ross. He was a fantastic artist.

Your new face is lovely and the abstracts are attractive. I think they might be freeing and fun to do.

So nice to see your wooden cup!
Also to see your older paintings, they are so charming.

Viola, your paintings that you are working on now and the completed ones from last year are gorgeous. I love the face. She has such a calm and beautiful appearance. I have watched Bob Ross and seen how he could make a blank canvas come alive in a short while. Thanks for the comment on my blog. It is no wonder that you had to google the tick; Norway probably has very few insects and arachnids. (lucky you!)

Beautiful paintings and I love that you, too, are working on several projects at the same time. I seem to always to that as well. Bob Ross - so funny, because apparently he is an American 'legend' I had never heard of until last week. So I watched him creating one of his seascapes, which was amazing, very 70s, but so cool.

Your landscape-paintings are amazing. I really like the softness of it and that red-orange sky. That coffee-mug looks interesting! Is it made of wood? Looking forward to what more you'll do with your WIP's!

Denthe, yes the cup is made of tree. I think it's named black alder or European alder in English.
